Nigel Cowling has over 15 years experience in delivering financial services to low income customers in Sub-Sahara Africa. This started with him being a founding member of the Cape Town based FinTech JUMO, where he served as a Managing Director and helped to grow Jumo from start-up to serving 5m customer across Sub-Sahara Africa.
Prior to moving across to 361, he was the Global Lead for Business Transformation at FINCA Impact Finance. Core to this change approach was focusing on the FINCA business model, and not just the technology, and this work informed the initial ideation around the 361 Platform strategy.
