With three decades of experience in fintech, Andre Penderis specializes in guiding fast-growing companies through the critical transition from start-up to scale-up. He leads cross-functional IT teams—ranging from DevOps and TechOps to Security, Infrastructure, and SAP—across both local and virtual environments.

Andre combines deep technical expertise in software engineering with a strategic focus on product delivery, team performance, and systems architecture. He has delivered major payment innovations, including the first non-bank acquiring systems and SoftPOS in KSA, and played a key role in building platforms like PayU, which handles the majority of South Africa’s e-commerce traffic. A strong advocate for data-driven decision-making, Andre focuses on continuous improvement to drive growth and operational excellence.
